Favorite PvP skills and why
This is a revival of an old thread I tried to find, but that thread must be past the death-mark. I recall that it really helped me understand different skills and professions, but it was also fun to argue over which skills people preferred. So, I'll try to make this somewhat orderly...
Warrior = Favorite class. Fear, command, machismo ('nuff said).
1. Bull's strike
So effective in so many situations, I pain when my warrior build can't fit in bull's strike.
2. "Fear Me!"
Strain monks to the breaking point, aoe style.
3. Eviscerate
I have reservations, but no skill has produced more kills.
Monk = Skill profession. The best monks are the best players.
1. Smite hex
Underappreciated, and not often used. Huge aoe and damage potential; a few smite hexes are pressure in themselves.
2. Signet of devotion
The one unfaltering heal in the boon-prot arsenal, taking out the trash is easy.
3. Heal Party
The most effective support option, in my humble opinion.
Elementalist = Utility production. Always doing what no one else can...
1. Ether Prodigy
No contest.
2. Shockwave
Have you seen what this skill can do?
3. Deep Freeze
There is never a bad time for deep freeze.
Ranger
1. Distracting shot
This one shot can strain an enemy build.
2. Crippling shot
3. Whirling defense
On none of the other classes do I have enough experience to post a viable opinion... However, I'm very interested to hear other opinions on favorite skills.

Warrior:
1) Final Thrust (Soooooooo much armor ignoring damage when the bonus triggers)
2) Charge! (Area speed boosts are sexy)
3) Heal Sig (I love how much self survival you can get out of this. Learn to cancel spam it against interrupts/KDs and you can survive just about anything)
Monk:
1) Word of Healing (I just enjoy playing a word monk)
2) Heal Party (I love how efficent this skill is)
3) Signet of Devotion (I love this skill, it makes it on most of my monk bars)
Mesmer:
1) Shame (great clutch shutdown spell)
2) Blackout (very dangerous yet hard to use skill)
3) Shatter Enchantment (great finisher)
Ranger:
1) Distracting Shot (Interrupts and disables for 20 seconds. What's not to like?)
2) Savage Shot (Cheap spammable interrupt)
3) Crippling Shot (Not as spammable anymore, but still great)
Elementalist:
1) Deep Freeze (Ridiculously large AoE)
2) Gale (It's just so useful)
3) Glyph of Renewal (Because GoR dom mesmers are just so awesome)
Necromancer:
1) I hate necromancers.
2) I guess Offering of Blood
3) Rotting Flesh is pretty fun too, I guess

In no particular order...
Warrior:
Devastating Hammer--Works very well in a knockdown chain with hammer bash.
Eviscerate--Hits for an average of 200 damage. What else could you want?
"Charge!"--Mobility, in an aoe.
Monk:
Heal Party--One skill to combat party-wide degen. I'll take it.
Empathic Removal--It has a cool animation An interesting effect as well.
Reversal of Fortune--What would a boon prot be without this handy skill?
Mesmer:
Diversion--Short recharge, nasty side effect.
Blackout--Unconditional shutdown on any target.
Shatter Enchantment--Boon prot monks use enchantments on the people they are trying to heal. Need I explain?
Elementalist:
Blinding Flash--Spammable (in a way) warrior shutdown.
Ether Prodigy--Nice energy management.
Deep Freeze--Large aoe with an unlinked 10 second duration.
Ranger:
Crippling Shot--The old standby. Crazy recharge, with a decent duration.
Distracting Shot--It always hurts to get hit with one of these.
Savage Shot--It is the fastes recharging interrupt in the game.
Necromancer:
Faintheartedness--Nothing like 50% slower attack speeds.
Shadow of Fear--See above, but with an aoe.
Offering of Blood--You'll be hard pressed to have energy problems using this.
Assassin:
Aura of Displacement--So many possibilities with this skill.
Twisting Fangs--It hits like an eviscerate.
Blades of Steel--Not overly useful, but one heck of an attack animation
I have played a Ritualist, though since I didn't enjoy it much I don't have any favorites for that class...yet. There is always tomorrow

Well, Monks don't use Heal Party as much as ellys...
Elementalist - Support. Easy to play, IMO.
Ether Prodigy. Ether Prodigy!
Glyph of Renewal. (Although I only use it while I'm being a Mesmer.)
Sorry to say, but I'd also have to go Heal Party. I would have taken Gale, however...

Diversion
